Job Description:
The Receptionist is responsible for answering inquiries and
providing information to clients per phone or in person, at the
company location. The receptionist is the first impression for
incoming customers, therefore, it is imperative that they maintain
a friendly and helpful presentation while greeting customers at all
times.
The Receptionist must have a clear working knowledge of various
aspects of the company. They must deliver positive customer
service, be able to operate effectively and manage multiple clients
at once, ensuring that the waiting area remains calm and orderly at
all times. They are expected to maintain an accurate account of
incoming traffic of client visits on a daily basis.
The Receptionist must also have excellent organizational skills, as
they are accountable for maintaining both paper and computerized
filing systems.
They are responsible for organizing and dispersing incoming and
outgoing mail that is transported through the office. Ensuring the
correct recipient attains their mail in a timely manner, as many
items may be time sensitive and/or of great priority. The
Receptionist is also responsible for processing applicant
paperwork.
