Job Description:
Our client is the leader of full-line medical supplies
distribution in the United States today. We are currently seeking a
Buyer to join their supply chain team.
The position is focused on efficient operations and delivery of
excellent customer service by serving as the liaison between
suppliers/vendors and the companies supply chain function under the
Purchasing Department.
• Supply chain function is comprised of purchasing, inventory
control, and the distribution center operations.
• At least five years of experience in Purchasing or Inventory
Control in distribution or the industrial supply industry.
• Extensive experience in aspects of Supplier and Customer
Relations
• Demonstrated proficiency utilizing the purchasing and inventory
control applications in an automated ERP system
• Must have experience purchasing products for various internal
locations.
• Demonstrated proficiency using MS Excel
• A organized and detail oriented approach to work
• Analytically skills
• Good written and verbal communication skill in English
