Job Description:
Manage a high-volume, upscale restaurant on LA's Westside with a
positive, hands-on approach. Title will be determined upon hire
depending on experience level. This lively concept appeals to a
local crowd with its biodynamic wine list and elevated Southern
California cuisine. Key responsibilities include overseeing the FOH
team, ensuring the team is knowledgeable on menu items, and
providing support for the GM in a positive manner. Additional
responsibilities include ordering, inventory, and scheduling, as
well as ensuring exceptional guest experience and resolving guest
issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of
success in upscale dining, impeccable leadership and service
skills, and the ability to work a mix of days, nights, and weekend
shifts.
- Oversee the FOH team
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable on menu items
- Hire, train, motivate and coach team members
- Provide Support for GM in positive manner
- Ordering, inventory, and scheduling
- Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of
professionalism and integrity
- Ensure exceptional guest experience in all areas
- Establish a positive work culture that is in line with company
culture, values, and philosophies
- Provide an excellent guest experience and resolve all guest
issues

- Understand and comply with CA labor laws
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Restaurant Assistant General
Manager (AGM) or 4+ years as a Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage
Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager, or Hospitality Manager
in a full-service, upscale, high-volume restaurant or comparable
concept
- Passion for food and beverage
- Basic understanding of administrative functions and controlling
cost of goods
- High attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong sense of integrity and initiative
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict
resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

support to staff members
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft
office
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
- Must be able to work a mix of day, night, and weekend
shifts
- Food safety certification
- Base Salary in the $75k-90k range D/O experience and title
