Job Description:
Our client's Virtual Studios is looking for an experienced Lead
Product Manager to join them as they build immersive, interactive
storytelling and digital commerce experiences for their gaming
community. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of
user behaviors and an ability to translate insights into actionable
recommendations that drive our product development
strategies.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute the product roadmap for foundational
capabilities and components of the Platform.
- Craft product narratives and requirements docs that clearly
define the features and capabilities we will build.
- Lead a cross-functional working group of engineers, designers,
data scientists, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on
vision and strategy.
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution of our team of
designers, engineers, and data scientists.
- Prioritize work based on various inputs from stakeholders while
being flexible to iterate and change.
- Define, measure, and analyze product KPIs and user feedback to
ensure we deliver consumer-right experiences.
- Live your customer's reality and leverage audience research,
data, cultural trends, and your own empathy to deconstruct the
gaming landscape across sport simulation games like EA FC, Madden,
2K and battle royale games like Fortnite.
- Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward
proposals.
- Collaborate with your core squad to groom backlog and plan
sprints.WHO YOU'LL WORK WITHIn this role, you will work alongside a
team of designers, engineers, product marketers, and data
scientists to create inclusive, immersive, and thought-provoking
experiences on the platform. You will operate in a fast-paced
startup environment with our teams in LA, OR, and NYC.WHAT YOU
BRING
- 7+ years of experience in product management in consumer apps,
games. Bonus if in gaming.
- Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research
methodologies.
- A track record of delivering consumer-right experiences.
- Proficient with user research tools and software (e.g.
Usertesting.com).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a
team environment.
- Ability to thrive and adapt to an evolving, quickly changing
environment.The target hiring compensation range for this role is
$63.60 to $70.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors
including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience,
relevant certifications, and location.
