• Employment Type: TravelCharting SystemCernerUnit Notes***No first time travelers***- Unit: L&D/PP- # L&D Beds: 9 L&D beds- # triage beds: 0 triage beds- # Postpartum beds: 4 postpartum beds- # births per day, per year: 55 births per month- Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN- Ratios: they follow AWOHNN guidelines- FHM System: fetal link- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: yes but they do not take a patient assignment- Nurse Aides/OB tech: OB tech - one on day shift and one on night shift- Weekend Requirement: every other- Call Requirement: no- Holidays: they will work them in with perm staff rotation- Scrub Color: hospital provided- Tele: phillips- OB/Neonataologist in house: on call- IV Team: no- RT 24/7: yes- Pharmacy 24/7: No - use marian for after hours after 10pm- Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 6-6-C-section experience required: must be able to circulate for csections- Floating: float between PP and L&D, candidates have to have experience with both- Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 34 weeks and above, high risk deliveries, birth plans are very important and followed by most of patient population- Additional Notes: 2 years experience in L&D/PP required, travel experience is preferred.United Staffing Solutions Job ID #789654.
