Job Description:
A company is looking for a Personal Services Contractor (PSC)
Legal Advisor responsible for providing expert legal counsel on
matters related to PSCs in the context of foreign assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic legal guidance to ensure compliance with USAID,
federal, and international regulations governing PSCs
Conduct legal research and analysis, developing interpretations of
laws and policies impacting PSCs
Draft briefs and recommendations on complex legal matters and
provide training on regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent; licensed to practice
law
Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, with 5 years
focused on foreign assistance or government contracting
In-depth understanding of statutes and regulations related to
PSCs
Experience working with PSCs and familiarity with federal
employment and tort claims laws
Previously worked as a contractor or direct hire at USAID
