Job SummaryAs a Heavy Equipment Operator at the California State Government, you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment and tools, including backhoes, front loaders, forklifts, and dump trucks. Your duties will also include maintaining assigned equipment and vehicles, performing safety checks, and cleaning assigned vehicles and equipment.Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment and tools, including backhoes, front loaders, forklifts, and dump trucks.
Maintain assigned equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Perform safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
Clean assigned vehicles and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. You will also need to be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
