which is part of the Mechanical Engineering Directorate, is looking
for a Senior Flight Safety System Engineer. This organization is
responsible for the design and development of propulsion technology
to support the Land Warfare and Air Defense mission area. - -We

to hear from you.Job Summary: - -The Senior Flight Safety System
Engineer position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:
Requires knowledge of work area, typically obtained through
education combined with experience. May have knowledge of project
management.This position is located in Tucson,
Arizona.Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure
appropriate action is taken to mitigate issues
- Self-starter and ability to work independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will
work with the hiring manager to set schedule.Qualifications You
Must Have:
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
(STEM)
- 5 years' experience with technical engineering background, in
the aerospace or government sector or Advanced degree and 3 years
of relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We

- 5 years of directly related experience in mechanical and
electrical design
- Specific experience developing electrical sub systems used in
flight termination (electronic arm fire devices, flight termination
receivers, flight termination controllers, tracking systems,
etc.)
- Experience developing and qualifying flight systems for harsh
environments.
- Working knowledge of RCC319.
- Experience developing destruct termination devices. -What We

USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
