Job Description:
A company is looking for a Specialty Clinic Coding Specialist
(Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze medical record documentation for accurate coding
of diagnoses and procedures
Assign appropriate codes in compliance with ethical coding
standards and official guidelines
Ensure documentation meets the requirements for inpatient,
outpatient, and professional services coding
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma
Prior coding experience in ICD-10 CM and HCPCS/CPT coding
Relevant certification such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC, or
completion within 6 months of employment
Preferred: A.S. or B.S. from an accredited Health Information
program
