Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Care Advocate.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers,
advocating for patient needs and navigating the healthcare
system
Educate members about coverage, benefits, and financial assistance
programs while collaborating with internal and external
stakeholders
Review claims for accuracy and document all interactions in a
professional manner within specified timeframes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work
experience
Proven experience in a customer service or patient advocacy role
within a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and
insurance processes
Proficient computer skills and ability to use electronic medical
record systems
Must reside in the Louisville, KY area
