Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter (FHA/VA) who
will execute underwriting based on company policy and
standards.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite FHA and VA loans and various other loan types
Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding
loan status
Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and maintain
current knowledge of products
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of government underwriting experience
Must possess valid CHUMS and LAPP/Sarto designations for FHA and VA
loans
Recent experience underwriting Conventional loans
Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
systems
