Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to assist
patients and referral sources with scheduling appointments and
providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage telephone calls and patient inquiries, ensuring timely
responses to appointment requests
Schedule patient appointments according to internal guidelines and
verify insurance information
Collect and enter accurate patient demographic information into the
system
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred; applicable work
experience may substitute
1-3 years of experience in a call center, appointment scheduling,
customer service, or medical office setting
Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center
environment
Knowledge of healthcare industry processes is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced
environment
