  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and perform research, visioning, conceptualization, layout and detailing on architectural and urban design projects.
  • Independently coordinate work of a multidisciplinary team through multiple phases of project development.
  • Establish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various public agencies for code compliance and statutory reviews.
  • Coordinate workload of various team members through multiple project phases to prepare and complete project documents including conceptual sketches, diagrams, renderings, technical drawings and construction-ready packages.
  • Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with other design and engineering disciplines.
  • Perform QA/QC, technical and design reviews.
  • Write and edit technical specifications.
  • Achieve consensus with project stakeholders and incorporate agreed-upon changes into project documents.
  • Perform design services during construction as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Architecture.
    • A minimum of 7 years experience.
    • Registered Architect in the State of California.
    • Experience and thought generation in civic architecture, public spaces, urban design, aviation, rail and multi-modal transportation facilities.
    • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
    • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max (not required).
    • Rhino and Grasshopper experience.Required Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
      • A minimum of 3 years experience.
      • Registered Architect.
      • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
      • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
      • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
