Job Description:
A company is looking for a Provider Credentialing Coordinator
who will facilitate credentialing services for hospitals and
providers.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Primary Source Verification program and ensure accuracy
of provider information
Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications,
maintaining compliance with regulations
Maintain provider records and keep the Central Verification Office
leaders informed of issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Intermediate experience with Word, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote
Working knowledge of TJC, NCQA standards, and state and federal
guidelines
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Minimum of one year experience in administrative work or healthcare
environment preferred
